Teacher of the Month
The Twin Falls Education Foundation has a “Teacher of the Month” program.
Each month, October-March, they will
accept nominations for certified teachers, both elementary and
secondary, that go above and beyond. Anyone is able to nominate a
teacher, from current students, parents, past students, etc. The only
stipulation is you may not nominate yourself or a family member.
The nominations will be reviewed by a
committee of 5 individuals, and each month 1 elementary teacher and one
secondary teacher will be selected. Those individuals will go into the
pool for “Teacher of the Year” and will be honored at our Gala on April
10th.
You can call the Foundation if you have any questions at 733-5400.

Science Day 2014
What an outstanding science day Perrine had on Wednesday January 8th!
Thank you to each organization that participated. Your enthusiasm and
expertise opened doors for our students. New interests were developed
and curiosities sparked! Here are pictures from each of the science
topics that students learned about. A big thank you also to the science
teachers for organizing the event, Mrs. Mason and Mrs. Schreiner.

4th Grade Science Projects
Fourth graders have spent the first semester of school learning about
Science! Observations, questioning, hypothesizing, experiments,
recording data, analyzing, volcanoes, landslides, and more! A cold Idaho
winter with snow outside is not a deterrent! Enjoy the following
pictures of the final semester science projects:
